Abstract:
By constructing a model with two variables of community participation and environmental attitudes, Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou was selected as a study case to explore the relationship between community participation and environmental attitudes. The results show that economic participation and environmental attitudes have a significantly positive impact on residents' attitudes toward self-interest and altruism, while political participation and social attitudes have no significant impact on residents' attitudes toward self-interest and altruism. Environmental participation has a stronger impact than economic participation on residents' environmental attitudes.
