Abstract: As an ideology, sports values need to be represented in film works by concrete audiovisual expressions. The Indian movie, Dangal, is a rare sports theme film which attracts international attention in recent years. It uses symbolized protagonist settings, contextual settings with rich connotations, vivid and moving details as the image representation of sports values, which enhances the artistic value and sports communication value of the film.
