Abstract: Through combing the literature, it is found that scholars, who have studied the strengthening of teachers' ideological and political work in teachers' department of the Party committee in colleges and universities, put forward the strengthening and upgrading of the ideological and political work and its mechanism and path, pointed out the system, mechanism construction and implementation path of "three-wide education" and multi-dimensional coordinated education, and also discussed the functions of the teachers' department of the Party committee in colleges and universities.
