Abstract: Ideal and belief is the calcium of spirit and the force of action. It is also the spiritual core for college students to become successful and realize their dreams of youth. We should further improve the effectiveness of education by improving the content of life-oriented education, making full use of the platform of new media education and strengthening the construction of teaching staff so as to encourage college students to firm up their Marxist beliefs, establish the lofty ideal of communism and the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
