Abstract: The rise and rapid development of new media brings opportunities and challenges to the work of colleges and universities, especially the realization of moral education. The counselor team of colleges and universities is in the core position in the process of realizing the fundamental task of moral education. In the face of the rapidly developing new media era, college counselors should strengthen their own cultivation, continuously improve their own media level, grasp the key period of moral education, the key content of moral education, the key team construction of moral education and the platform construction of moral education to enhance the effectiveness of moral education work in colleges and universities.
