Abstract:
In the new era, focusing on the objectives and requirements of “nurturing students’ character through education”, promoting a broad perspective of history, enhancing ideological and political education, and addressing the “four questions”, teachers of the Outline of Modern Chinese History need to concentrate on developing certain professional abilities. These include the ability to distill and focus on the ideological elements of the outline, professional foundational capabilities that align with key courses, the capacity to systematically integrate new ideas, viewpoints, and judgments, as well as the ability to accurately interpret significant domestic and international events and hot-button issues.
