On Self-consciousness and Its Core Position in Memory

From the perspective of developmental psychology, the self-consciousness of animals and human beings has a process of development from scratch, and from low level to high level. The dynamic form of self-consciousness can be expressed as a function of dependent variable, which can be regarded as three kinds of independent variable components:motivation variable, feeling variable and experience connecting variable. According to the dynamic function of self-consciousness and the characteristics of perceptual integrity, a neurobiological model of self-consciousness is established in this paper. Results show that the memory process and self are inseparable and the memory pattern centered on self-consciousness can explain some forgetting phenomena in memory.
