A Study on the Employment Quality of Graduates Majoring in Management Science and Engineering

Based on the analysis of the employment data of graduates majoring in management science and engineering from Anhui University of Technology, this paper finds that their choice of employment location is closely related to Chinese national and regional economic development and urban attraction. Their employment industry is relatively concentrated and most of graduates are engaged in the work corresponding to their major. Some graduates have a strong desire to enter higher education, but they are greatly influenced by the discipline characteristics and the adjustment of postgraduate entrance examination policy. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen industry-university-institute cooperation, further improve the quality of undergraduate teaching and enhance the employability of graduates.
