A Study of “Local Practice” of College Students in Design Discipline

“Local practice” is an innovative design practice activity for contemporary college students, which aims to cooperate with the national “rural revitalization” implementation and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas in China, takes the field practice as the method, takes the innovation of traditional crafts, the improvement of rural living environment and the mining of rural cultural and tourism resources as the main means, and focuses on “design poverty alleviation” and “public welfare assistance”. It is necessary to strengthen the “local practice” of college students in design discipline, develop the collaborative development of industry, University and research, and cultivate their innovation ability and practical ability.
