Women's Education and the Awakening of Women's Subject Consciousness in Modern China

  • With the promotion of modern Western church education, the stimulation of national crisis and the advocacy of nationalism, women's education was legalized and institutionalized. Women's education level has been improved, social activities have been continuously practiced, and independence in marriage and love has been advocated. School education and social education make women's subject consciousness constantly awaken, and begin to pursue independent personality and social value, and construct female subject identity in this process.
