Bibliometric Analysis of Tourism Education Research in China

Taking CSSCI database as the data source, using bibliometric analysis method and CiteSpace III as the data analysis tool, this paper comprehensively combs the research on tourism education in China. The results show that:the annual distribution of the number of literature presents wave characteristics, and the published journals are mainly tourism research and education research journals; the research force is relatively scattered, there are a large number of independent research, and there is a lack of cooperation between research teams; the representative literature is lack, and the literature co citation network with high centrality and many nodes has not been formed, and the research foundation has not yet been formed; the research topics focus on four aspects:tourism higher education development, tourism specialty construction, tourism talent training, curriculum and teaching.
