Abstract
Combining the characteristics of material forming and control engineering with information technology, a virtual reality experimental teaching platform is built by digitizing and intelligentizing the high-quality experimental teaching resources. The learning and engineering practical ability of students have been improved by adopting virtual reality technology and seven modules including cognitive learning, simulation operation, performance evaluation, practice and innovation, technological design and teaching resource database, which provides favourable conditions for the cultivation of advanced application-oriented engineering science and technology talents.
