Abstract
The teaching competence of teachers in colleges and universities is an important guarantee to improve the quality of talent cultivation. In view of current situation of teachers' teaching competence in colleges and universities, this paper selects the competence evaluation indexes of teachers in colleges and universities from the internal and external aspects, and constructs an evaluation index system of teaching competence of teachers in colleges and universities in the new era based on the results of questionnaire survey and expert consultation. Grey correlational model is adopted to evaluate the teaching competence of teachers in colleges and universities. Colleges and universities should guide teachers to actively improve their teaching competence through policy incentives.
