Abstract
Xu Yang's A Masterpiece of Chinese Genre Painting: Suzhou's Golden Age depicts the scenery of Suzhou in the prosperous Qing Dynasty from Lingyan Mountain to Huqiu in a delicate and lifelike way. There are more than 50 bridges in the paintings. The construction of these bridges is affected by the hydrological environment, surrounding environment and geographical environment. The construction and decoration of the ancient bridges reflects the commercial prosperity of Suzhou, contains unique regional culture and contributes to important historical materials for the in-depth study of the culture of Suzhou bridge.
