Research on the Spatial Creation Strategy of the Genius Loci in Traditional Villagesin Huizhou——Taking Lingshan Village as an Example

In the renewal and transformation of traditional villages, the protection of the structure and function of the place is neglected, and its regional characteristics and spatial vitality are gradually depleted. Based on this, from the creation theory of the genius loci, we take Huizhou Lingshan Village as an example to explore the influential elements of the genius loci in its public space, and propose a set of strategies applicable to the genius loci in the public space of traditional villages in Huizhou, namely the weaving and renewal of activity places, the extraction and reconstruction of regional characteristics, and the weaving of continuity of historical situations, in order to effectively strengthen the experience of place in the public space of traditional villages and to solve the problems of hollowing out of villages and lack of sense of place.
