Research Progress and Revelation of Tourism Supply Chain at Home and Abroad

Research on tourism supply chain of foreign countries began in the mid 1990s, focusing on empirical and case studies. It mainly investigated the concept, composition, model framework research of tourism supply chain. Domestic research on tourism supply chain began in the early 21st century, mainly focused on its elements, core enterprise, operation mechanism, node selection and evaluation methods, risk avoidance of tourism supply chain. The future research should be devoted to establish a perfect theory system of tourism supply chain, and strengthen the research on the construction and operation of tourism supply chain management mode.
