A Study on the Teaching Reform of Professional English in Metallurgical Engineering

There are some problems in English teaching of metallurgical engineering majors, such as focusing more on reading and translating than writing and listening. The teaching reform should be carried out from the aspects of teaching ideas, teaching contents and teaching modes, besides, discussion should be carried out on the professional English teaching mode which is accordant with the certification requirements of engineering education to improve students' ability of professional English application.
