Research on the Evolution of Li Tang's Style from Geographical Perspective

Li Tang's painting works in different times related greatly with the areas where he lived. He lived in the Song Dynasty, inherited the style of being grand and magnificent in the Northern Song Dynasty, then, he created a style of being fresh and graceful in the Southern Song Dynasty, and finally, he liberated the style of pen and ink with deep atmosphere from the Northern Song Dynasty. He created a new attitude of academy landscape painting in the Southern Song Dynasty, which reduced the lines, emphasized and founder the use of new ink culture.
