Wei Xiang served as local magistrate in Chuzhou for three years. Beautiful landscape and diligent and earthy people of Chuzhou gave birth to his poems and contributed to the natural characteristics and documentary style of his poems. The study of Wei Xiang and his poems can not only offer certain historical value to the presentation of the overall style of Song poetry, but also abound in era significance on the current development of cultural Chuzhou.
