A Study on the “Micro-renewal” Model of Old Community under the “Organic Renewal”

Today, when the urban construction and real estate market in China are generally returning to rationality, old communities are experiencing a bottom-up internal tapping, called "micro-renewal". Influencing factors of "micro-renewal" in old communities include community population and management institutions, infrastructure and landscape system, cultural value and field spirit. Because of these, "micro-renewal" of the old communities has the following modes of action:the renewal of community organization structure, the construction of effective information platform, the top-down of community planner system, the combination of "micro-renewal" and "organic renewal", and the deep excavation of community culture.
