A Research on Cultural Value of Mathematics in College Mathematics Teaching

  • The essence of mathematics is culture. Mathematics is more likely to be regarded as a method and tool in the current practice of mathematics teaching, which overemphasizes the intellectual and educational function of mathematics, but fails to explore its rich cultural value. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a teaching model based on mathematical culture, excavate and display the cultural connotation contained in college mathematics content from various aspects, and integrate mathematical culture into teaching, so as to stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning mathematics, improve teaching effect, cultivate and improve students' mathematical literacy.
