Abstract
Pattern recognition is a basic course for postgraduate students majoring in computer science. In order to make the teaching of pattern recognition course keep up with the development trend of this subject at home and abroad, it is necessary to introduce the latest international subject materials and implement bilingual teaching. The teaching effect can be improved by actively adopting transitional bilingual method, making students actively participate in the teaching process, enhancing the interaction between teachers and students as well as among students, integrating scientific research into teaching, and reforming assessment methods.
