On the Internal Logic and New Cultivation Path of Socialist Core Values

As the inheritance and sublimation of Chinese traditional virtues, socialist core values contain the “morality” of country, the “morality” of society and the “morality” of individual, which have internal logic and are essentially unified. The “morality” of country is to show the concept and goal of national development from the perspective of “stabilizing the country”. The “morality” of society is an important link between the “morality” of country and the “morality” of individual. The “morality” of individual is the realistic and solid foundation of the “morality” of country and the “morality” of society. The cultivation of the socialist core values in the new era should be based on the root of the core values, promote the cognition and identification of the core values through three-dimensional publicity and education, integrate the socialist core values into socialist legal construction and into the moral construction as well as the daily life of citizens in the new era, so as to make people practise socialist core values consciously.
