Abstract
The effect of land expropriated farmers' resettlement is an important factor affecting their sense of gain. Therefore, it can effectively test the policy effect of resettlement by investigating the differences of the life of the land expropriated farmers before and after the implementation of land acquisition and resettlement, as well as the differences between the land expropriated farmers and the non-land expropriated farmers. This paper selects 307 field survey data and statistical yearbook of Anhui Province and other relevant data, introduces income, expenditure and consumption level as measurement indicators, and uses double difference model to analyze the resettlement effect of land expropriated farmers. It is found that land acquisition and resettlement has a significant positive impact on the income growth and consumption level of land expropriated farmers, but also leads to a significant increase in the expenditure of land expropriated farmers. Based on this, this paper puts forward several measures to broaden the income channels of land expropriated farmers, reduce the follow-up expenses of land expropriated farmers in an orderly manner, and make targeted amendments to the resettlement policy.
