Abstract
There are some problems in the teaching of theoretical mechanics course in traditional civil engineering specialty, such as the disconnection of teaching content and engineering practice, the single teaching mode, and the inflexibility of course assessment. Under the background of new engineering construction, theoretical mechanics course optimizes the teaching mode, realizes diversified assessment, strengthen the cultivation of students' interdisciplinary awareness, innovative thinking and engineering practice ability, so as to improve the classroom teaching effect.
