Abstract
Animal Right is one of the most prominent themes in Ecological literature. It is clear that humane reason and technological civilization conflict with the theme of animal protection; however, J. M. Coetzee demonstrates frankly the lack of human's awareness of protecting animals, but rather killing and exploiting them. Based on the theory of Animal Right, his thesis aims to investigate the inspiration effect that the writer's main masterpieces trigger man's natural ecological sensitivities and the thought of philosophy he has generated to construct harmonious ecology jointly. Meanwhile, it deals with moral ethic in Ecological literature and orientation of balanced development, which urges humans to show mercy on animals and achieve self-salvation for human beings.
