On the Integrating Ideological and Political Course into College English Teaching

College English course has humanistic nature, its own characteristics and development space for ideological and political education, which all provide the possibility for integrating ideological and political education into the course. On the basis of cultivating active consciousness and giving full play to their own role, college English teachers should fully consider the needs of students, take the content of teaching materials as the basis, deeply excavate the ideological and political resources, reasonably design the teaching links, innovate teaching methods, improve the teaching effect and achieve the goal of integrating ideological and political education into the course.
