Abstract
In order to solve the problem of insufficient interest in mechanical design basic course for non-mechanical engineering students, flipped classroom teaching mode is introduced into the teaching of this course. Through the preparation before class, classroom discussion and question answering, as well as after class summary and evaluation, the organic combination of classroom teaching and practice can be realized, and the main role of students in the learning process is brought into full play, so as to improve the teaching effect of the course.
