Teaching Reform and Practice of Chemical Reaction Engineering under the Background of New Engineering

Chemical Reaction Engineering is a theoretical and comprehensive course. There are some problems, such as theoretical abstraction of teaching content, many mathematical models, complex and cumbersome calculation, which lead to students' difficulty in digesting and absorbing knowledge, poor learning enthusiasm, difficulty in integrating theory with practice and so on. In order to meet the requirements of new engineering for the cultivation of innovative talents in chemical engineering specialty, aiming at the problems existing in the teaching of Chemical Reaction Engineering course, teaching reform is carried out by optimizing teaching content, setting up classroom experiments, introducing flipped classroom and improving assessment methods, so as to improve the teaching quality.
