A Study of the Coupling and Coordination between High-End Service Industry and Advanced Manufacturing Industry in Yangtze River Delta Region

Using the coupling coordination model, we empirically analyze the coupling coordination degree of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry during 2014 to 2018 in Yangtze River Delta region. The research results show that the comprehensive evaluation index of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is expanding year by year, and the coupling coordination degree rises from primary coordination to intermediate coordination. The coupling coordination degree of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry in each of the three provinces and one city is in an upward trend in general, but the change characteristics are different. In order to further improve the coupling coordination level of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry, it is necessary to establish and improve the platform for the coordinated development of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry. It is also necessary to play the leading role of Shanghai, and each province and each city play their own advantages to form a joint force to promote the coordinated development of high-end service industry and advanced manufacturing industry in Yangtze River Delta region.
