Abstract
Based on the concept of urban memory, the elements of Nanjing's urban memory in the Republic of China are extracted, stored in various ways, integrated and expressed in a modern way. The paper puts forward two directions, focusing on memory in the space-time quadrant and the fusion of material and immaterial, and hypotheses on the possibility of future product design so as to establish a mapping relation with product design elements.
