Abstract
Based on the concept and requirements of engineering education certification, aiming at the characteristics of industrial electric furnace course and the problems existing in traditional education, bold reform and practice are carried out in the teaching concept, teaching content, teaching methods, examination methods as well as evaluation mechanism of the course. In the teaching process, we follow the concepts of "output oriented""student-centered" and "continuous improvement" advocated by the engineering education certification, actively expand and extend the teaching content, try new teaching methods, adopt diversified assessment methods, and especially strengthen the assessment of ordinary performance. The teaching results show that the achievement degree of the index points supported by the course is higher than the qualified standard, and the students are satisfied with the teaching quality on the whole.
