Research on the Impact of Fresh Food E-commerce Platform Development on Agricultural Products Circulation in China

  • Based on the current situation, types and characteristics of fresh food e-commerce platform development in China, we analyze the impact of fresh e-commerce platform development on the circulation efficiency and circulation channels of fresh agricultural products. We draw the conclusions that fresh food e-commerce platform enhances the circulation efficiency of fresh agricultural products through the mechanism of scale economy, competition effect and capital deepening effect. The development of fresh e-commerce platform will influence offline channels, make online channels tend to oligopoly, and squeeze the interests of agricultural producers.
