Abstract
The integration of “Four Histories” education into the teaching of ideological and political courses in universities is an objective requirement to strengthen the mainstream ideological identity of college students. It also is an inevitable requirement to strengthen the Party’s leadership of ideological work in universities, and a practical need to enhance the attractiveness, appealing, and affinity of the teaching of ideological and political courses. Sorting out the relationship between the “Four Histories” education and the ideological and political courses in universities, and solving the problem of lesson preparation are the prerequisites for good integration. To realize the integration of the “Four Histories” education into the teaching of ideological and political courses in universities, it is necessary to effectively connect the content of the “Four Histories” education with the teaching materials of ideological and political courses, effectively integrate the teaching methods, and effectively dock the teaching objectives and tasks.
