Abstract
This paper adopts the method of questionnaire survey and interview research to investigate the adaptability to enrollment of 1,377 freshmen in the class of 2020 of Anhui University of Technology, among which 196 students have received scholarships and 298 have received financial assistance from relevant departments. Through comparison, it is found that there is no obvious difference between poor students and non-poor students in the adaptation to school enrollment, and poor college students are well adapted to school enrollment. Colleges and universities should guide college students to build a reasonable perception of poverty, create a positive social environment, and explore the positive personality qualities of poor college students to improve their adaptive ability.
