Research on the Digital Conservation of Ancient Buildings in Yuncao Ancient Town, Anhui, Based on BIM Technology

Focused on the conservation of cultural relics in Yuncao, this study departs from traditional preservation approaches and proposes a paradigm shift by leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. The methodology involves information collection, three-dimensional reconstruction, and lifecycle management of the ancient buildings in Yuncao, ultimately achieving a comprehensive digitized preservation. This innovative digital approach not only presents a feasible systematic solution for the conservation and inheritance of cultural heritage in Yuncao Ancient Town but also introduces new directions and perspectives for the protection of ancient buildings in Anhui.
