An Exploration of Teaching Reform of Radio Frequency Identification Principles and Applications Based on Engineering Certification

  • As an important role in the data collection and transfer, course of radio frequency identification (RFID) is one of the core courses in the major of Internet of Things. Due to the limitations of objective conditions, there are a series of deficiencies in our previous teaching procedures of principles and applications of RFID. To suit the requirements of engineering accreditation, we first analyze the existing issues in our teaching procedures. Via simplifying and optimizing teaching contents, adopting various teaching techniques, teaching effectiveness has been significantly improved. Simultaneously, the new reformed teaching contents are more fits the requirements of engineering accreditation. Finally, we also point out the inadequacies of the RFID course and try to propose possible solutions.
