Research and Practice on Teaching Reform of Advanced Structural Materials Bilingual Course

The Advanced Structural Materials is a bilingual course in Chinese and English for inorganic non-metallic materials engineering. It strengthens students’ mastery of the preparation, composition, structure and performance of the new emerged inorganic non-metallic structural materials, involves numbers of professional English vocabulary, and makes students read English professional literature and write in English. In view of the characteristics of the subject and some problems found in the teaching of this course, some improvement methods have been explored from teaching content and teaching mode, and good teaching results have been achieved.
