Exploration on the Construction of Ideological and Political Materials Base for Metallurgical Engineering Major

Under the background of the new era, the training methods and quality requirements of students majoring in metallurgical engineering are constantly changing. The organic combination of ideological and political education and professional courses is a necessary way to realize students' feelings of home and country and the spirit of responsibility of the times. This paper puts forward the ways to build the ideological and political material base of metallurgical engineering courses based on five aspects: metallurgical history, metallurgist, traditional culture, great power and philosophical thought, in order to provide reference for ideological and political education of metallurgical courses.
