Abstract
Based on theoretical learning and teaching practice from the ideological and political perspective, the construction of college English “smart classroom” should strengthen the construction of teachers, promote the reform of teaching modes and grind the depth and breadth of teaching contents. With the orientation of value guidance, dominated by the teachers, occupied by the students, carried by the teaching materials and advanced teaching modes and PBL methods, value shaping, knowledge imparting and ability cultivation should be integrated to improve the teaching quality and educational effects while cultivating students’ language skills.
