Research on the Export Potential of Anhui Province to Other RCEP Member States under the Tariff Relief on Goods

Based on the zero tariff rules of trade in goods of RCEP, the article takes the goods export of Anhui Province as the research object, and uses the stochastic frontier trade gravity model to study the potential of the export of goods of Anhui Province to RCEP member countries. The result shows that Anhui Province has different export trade potential for goods from different countries, yet the export trade potential for goods to ASEAN countries is obviously greater than that to Japan, Korea and Australia, etc. In the future, Anhui Province needs to do good in interpreting and training of the zero tariff rule, building digital trade infrastructure, encouraging enterprises to actively invest and building factories in RCEP member countries to explore overseas markets and the government needs to strengthen policy support, clarifying the differentiated advantage industries that should be developed for different export target countries, and exploit trade potential.
