Abstract
Cultivating the belief in Marxism among young people is an important guarantee for the inheritance of the great cause of the Party. During the Yan’an period, China Youth was an official publication for cultivating young people’s Marxist beliefs, and also the main carrier for Mao Zedong to cultivate young people’s Marxist beliefs. It received much attention and love from the central government and revolutionary youth. When facing severe challenges in China, Mao Zedong aimed to shape the correct political views of young people, and strengthen the guidance of youth life. The effective forms of mobilizing young people for productive labor have comprehensively cultivated their Marxist beliefs and forged proletarian revolutionary fighters with unwavering beliefs. In today’s rapidly evolving era of unprecedented changes, Mao Zedong’s historical experience in cultivating young people’s Marxist faith tells us that the cultivation of young people’s Marxist faith still needs to continue to highlight the political direction of faith, strengthen the theoretical armament of the foundation of faith, and serve the mission of national rejuvenation.
