Research on the Expression of Materials in Regional Architecture

Aiming to explore the main connection between the material expression of architecture itself and regional architecture, this paper employs various research methods such as literature review and induction and deduction, based on the theory of regional culture, to analyze multiple architectural cases to summarize the main contents of material expression in regional architecture. The purpose is to re-examine the regional characteristics of architecture from the perspective of regional architecture and discuss the conflicts and integration between regionality and the development of architecture in the new era, with the hope of providing some help to the current rigid and stagnant situation in the field of architectural creation in China.
