Abstract
Cultivating compound and high-quality talents is educational objective of Environmental Engineering, which is the true target of the teaching reform for the course of “Environmental Engineering Biology”, a core course in the field of Environmental Engineering. According to the requirements of the concept of OBE for professional certification of engineering education, the teaching objective, teaching system, teaching content, teaching mode, and teaching evaluation are reconstructed under the guidance of constructivism theory. A student-centered teaching model is put forward, which promotes students’ knowledge generation, ability cultivation and value shaping and contribute to the cultivation of environmental engineering professionals.
