In the era of generative artificial intelligence, legal education should adhere to the excellent character of education while actively exploring reform. The rapid development of AIGC not only impacts the traditional legal education, but also brings the internal drive for reform. The single teaching model begins to collapse, ontology risk threatens the stability of teaching content, technology abuse reduces the originality of students’ thinking, and professional replacement shakes the goal and method of talent training. Therefore, legal education needs to use artificial intelligence technology to innovate teaching mode, multi-disciplinary integration, enhance community effect, open course mutual recognition, and construct a dual teacher model to reshape teaching evaluation mechanism.
