Research on the Synergistic Mechanism for Resolving Conflicts in Acquaintance Societies from the Perspective of the “Fengqiao Experience”

  • The working principle of the “Fengqiao Experience” is “relying on the masses, not escalating conflicts, and resolving them locally”, and the spirit it embodies has significant value for adjusting the current conflict resolution mechanisms. With the transformation of social structures, the existing conflict resolution models are increasingly unable to meet the demands of reality. From the perspective of the operational rules of acquaintance societies, the conflict resolution mechanism must adhere to its unique internal requirements. The formation of conflicts in acquaintance societies has deep-seated causes, and their resolution mechanisms encompass multiple elements: not only the crucial role played by grassroots organizations but also various forms of public participation, as well as emotional communication and trust rebuilding. These elements are not only the intrinsic requirements for resolving conflicts but also the foundation for maintaining the social relationship networks in acquaintance societies. Their effective integration is conducive to the establishment of a conflict resolution mechanism suitable for acquaintance societies, and on this basis, it can also promote the healthy development of society.
