Abstract
Under the background of the construction of new engineering disciplines, the construction of the teaching system for professional English courses for graduate students in metallurgical engineering must be guided by the needs of graduate students, with teaching objectives focused on core competencies of the discipline, increased teaching content guided by graduate students’ needs, and the use of online and offline interactive and collaborative teaching modes. The implementation of multi-dimensional assessment and evaluation strategies throughout the entire process lays the foundation for cultivating high-quality new engineering talents.
