Abstract
As one of the representative works of Huang Tingjian in his later years, the Poem Scroll of Visiting the Shrine of General Fubo contains the cheerful calm, bold and unrestrained style of writing, lean into one side, with potential motion as flying, with space-time unity and changing endless layout. The elegance and transcendence in the realm of life is the best interpretation of its respect for “meaning”, focus on “rhyme”, “clumsy” and the view of “forming a style of its own” to achieve the perfect unity of pen and ink form, author’s temperament and text content. Through the comprehensive analysis of the artistic language of the work, the concrete expression of the author’s thoughts on calligraphy in his calligraphy works are revealed.
