Construction of Practical Teaching System for Cultivating the Competence of Solving Complex Engineering Problems

  • To cultivate the competence of solving complex engineering problems is one of the core objectives of modern engineering education. Based on the characteristics of complex engineering problems and the competency requirements for solving complex engineering problems, Anhui Jianzhu University’s Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials Engineering program has reformed and innovated its practical teaching content and methods to build a practical teaching system consisting of “one goal, two dimensions, three levels, four modules, and five key points. ” This system provides effective support for cultivating students’ ability to solve complex engineering problems and serves as a useful reference for the reform of related programs and the construction of emerging engineering education.
