Discussion on the Construction Mechanism of Legal Protection of Geographical Indication of Agricultural Products in China

Legal protection of geographical indications of agricultural products is the key to promoting the construction of agricultural branding and quality, and is also an important prerequisite for broadening the agricultural industrial chain. The current laws have such problems as unclear legal hierarchy, low law enforcement efficiency, and passive legal protection, etc. This article starts from the current situation of the legal protection of geographical indications of agricultural products in China, puts forward countermeasures such as improving the legislative level, establishing a multi-party joint law enforcement mechanism, improving the industry autonomy system and strengthening the law enforcement guarantee.
